This section describes the different statuses a cash advance or expense report can go through, from creation onward. Each status represents a stage in the workflow and determines which actions are enabled, such as editing, submitting, approving, rejecting, or reporting.
Statuses: Statuses are shown on the Cash Advances List and Expense Reports List screens, accessed from Travel & Expenses > Cash Advances > Cash Advances List or Travel & Expenses > Expense Reports > Expense Reports List.
At the top of these screens, you can filter by status using the checkboxes next to each one. This lets you quickly view the cash advances or expense reports that are in a given status.

The definition for each status is as follows:
Draft Can be edited without being visible to anyone else.
Pending In the approval stage, depending on the approval workflow.
Pending Finance Awaiting approval by the Finance area.
Approved Approved by Finance; payment is still pending to be recorded.
To Report The cash advance was paid and is ready to be reported (Cash Advances).
Reported The expense report payment was recorded. The cash advance was fully reported.
Rejected The cash advance or expense report was rejected.
To Submit The assistant created the cash advance or expense report on behalf of their manager and it's ready for them to submit.
To Modify The manager requested changes from the assistant.
